December Guest Designer: Tiffany Solorio

Hi everyone! Welcome to our second December Guest Designer post.

We are thrilled to have the lovely Tiffany Solorio as our December Guest Designer. She has a very beautiful project to share with you today! Tiffany is another designer who can do it all! She makes exceptional mixed media pieces, lovely layouts, and gorgeous cards! Let's get to know Tiffany in her own words.

My name is Tiffany Solorio. I have been obsessed with paper crafting for about 10 years. I live in Nevada and I'm a stay-at-home mom of 2 children. As a family, we love going camping in the summer and we also love watching movies together. I am so honored to be a guest designer for Altenew. 

Tiffany's Elegant Thank You Card

For my card, I used the Leaf Canopy Stamp and Die Set for my main focus. I stamped the leaves with a watermark ink and used white embossing powder after I heat set the powder. I used the Altenew watercolors to color the leaves. For my background, I used the Classy Stripes Stencil and watermark ink so I can add some embossing powder and create an emboss resist effect.

I used some ink to blend an ombre effect for the background. Then I added some splatters with some gold paint and to finish the card, I added some enamel dots. Please check out the video tutorial to see how I created the card.
