Stepping Into The Rainforest Ensemble
Would you like to create original and unique designs? Do you want more crafty items that CHALLENGE your creativity? Say no more with the Stepping into the Rainforest Ensemble, with which you can do projects that will leave your friends, family, and followers in awe! Impress with lush greenery backgrounds, adorable ladybug dies, unique wood textures, and shimmering sentiments!
I started making the card by creating a wood tree ring piece using the Wood Cookie Die Set. I die-cut all its pieces out of a dark warm-toned gray cardstock. Next, I inked the woodgrain and bark pieces with Lava Rock Dye Ink to make them darker than the base wood cookie piece.
After that, I assembled the element and adhered it onto a panel made out of the same cardstock. This element, in turn, was foam mounted onto a white card base.
Next, I made a rounded rectangular frame using a die from the Rounded Rectangles Die Set. The die was used to die-cut the inner edge of the frame. I used my corner cromper to make beautiful, rounded outer edges.
To tie the frame with other card elements I slightly blended the Morning Frost Dye Ink onto it.
Then I stamped several leaves using the Rainforest Leaves Wreath Builder Stamp Set and Morning Frost Dye Ink onto a Solar White Cardstock. I only used the top layers of each leaf, to make them “white”.
Additionally, I stamped a sentiment using a stamp from the same Rainforest Leaves Wreath Builder Stamp Set and Lava Rock Dye Ink. All stamped elements were die-cut using the coordinating Rainforest Leaves Wreath Builder Die Set.
I adhered all the Rainforest Leaves elements onto the card, tucking them under the frame.
Lastly, I popped up the sentiment inside the frame.
