This super useful (dare I say versatile? haha!) sentiment set can be used in such a wide variety of ways and in combination with so many other Altenew products that I couldn't help creating two cards with it—one with the hot foil plates and one with the sentiment dies!

Versatile Greetings 2

Isn't it fun to add die-cut shimmery sentiments or greetings to your paper crafts? Make shimmering projects with dimension with these lovely coordinating products! The Versatile Greetings 2 Die Set contains 8 greetings and an exclamation point in a trendy and modern font.

I kept my color palette clean, with pops of pink and metallic rose gold. Let's get started with the details.

For both of my projects, I chose to feature the different elements from the Golden Days product suite. I love the graceful blooms and foliage in this suite, not to mention that you have the option to hot foil or stamp, color or stencil, die cut or leave intact!

The bold, classy font from the Versatile Greetings 2 suite works beautifully with the bold blooms and foliage from the Golden Days suite.

For both projects, I used the layering stencils with Pink Diamond, Pinkalicious, Rubellite, and Razzleberry inks from the Cherry Blossom ink quartet for the blooms, and Silver Sage, Jade, Eucalyptus, and Forest Fern inks from the Frosted Foliage Fresh Dye Ink quartet for the foliage in the stamp set.

For my first project, I used the Golden Days hot foil plate with Altenew's Rose Gold hot foil to create a large floral background. I used the coordinating Coloring Stencils with the Cherry Blossom ink quartet to create an enormous, stunning, vibrant pink bloom. Watching the stencils bring the bloom to life is pure magic!

Next, I created the sentiment, combining a rose gold hot foiled greeting from Versatile Greetings 2 with a white Mega Love die cut. To draw the eye to the sentiment elements, I die cut the Fine Frames Cover Die from some Brushed Rose Metallic Cardstock to coordinate with the rose gold floral background.

I adhered two of the frames to the blended floral card front using liquid adhesive. I added the two different sentiment die cuts to the card front using Instant Dimension Foam Tape. Finally, I added a few coordinating metallic rose gold gems to add one last bit of sparkle!

My second card features the word dies from the Versatile Greetings 2 product suite, this time paired with some sentiments from the Mega Greetings 4 sentiment set.

I began by heat embossing the outline floral elements from the Golden Days stamp set using Rose Gold Embossing Powder to ensure that all of the metallic elements coordinated.

I then used the Cherry Blossom and Frosted Foliage ink families with the layering stamps included in the Golden Days stamp set. These two color families work so beautifully together! I die cut the finished bloom and foliage with the coordinating dies.

To add interest to the background, I die cut the Moroccan Lattice cover plate die from some white cardstock and layered it on top of a plain white A2 card front.

This tone-on-tone background provides just a bit of textural interest behind the vibrant flowers! I also laid another Metallic Rose Fine Frames die cut on the card base, nestling it into the bottom right corner to draw the eye to my focal point. I arranged the bloom and foliage on the frame, adhering them with more foam adhesive.

I then added a die cut greeting from Versatile Greetings 2, cutting the background outline layer from vellum and the detail layer from more Metallic Rose cardstock to coordinate with the other rose gold elements on the card.

I added some sentiment strips from Mega Greetings 4, heat embossed in Rose Gold, which coordinate beautifully with the “hope” sentiment from Versatile Greetings 2. A few more metallic rose gold gems finished the card off!
