Mini Instant Camera Frame Die
Capture timeless memories or moments with this cute mini instant camera frame die! Frame your sentiments, photos, or any other images to give your projects a vintage finish! For a toned look, try cutting the Mini Instant Camera Frame with the same color of your card base. Have fun making unique frames and DIY polaroid-like photos with this versatile and cute die set!
In January, we celebrated our son's and daughters' 20th birthday (by wearing Kimonos) as the Japanese tradition. I printed out some pictures of my daughter from the celebration to send to my parents.
I wanted to create a decorative background, so I used the Botanical 3D Embossing Folder from the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Meadow Breeze to emboss the accordion album that I created from plain cardstock. I also embossed the envelope for added interest.
Besides the existing photos that were already printed, I used the Mini Instant Camera Frame Die so that I could add more photos. To add shine to these photo cards, I used Metallic Cardstock – Brushed Silver and Brushed Rose to cut the dies.
Once the dies were cut, I attached the photos behind the frames, creating a Polaroid effect!
On the card front, I placed another photo that I cut with the Mini Instant Camera Frame die. I also put some strips of Golden Foil Pinstripe Washi Tape as accents on the bottom part, under the embossed flower image.
1 Product, Multiple Ways!
Before you go, here are a few card ideas featuring this new die set!
We don't know which is more adorable – Jaycee's card design or the picture of his cat! His creative use of grey cardstock to create a shadow outline for the first frame makes the photo look like he took it from a Polaroid camera!
Another great design from Jaycee, his card features a gorgeous layering of the Mini Instant Camera Frame Die with the sentiment and design from the Retro Bicycle Stamp and Die Set on a light, ink-blended background. The Delicate Polka Dots Washi Tape and the floral background complement each other really well too!
If you're fond of taking photos like Reiko, the Mini Instant Camera Frame Die is the perfect way of transforming them into a cool vintage photo that you can use as designs for your cards or as a DIY ornament to hang around your house. We love how Reiko paired the picture with a beautiful sentiment as well!
Tenia's card is truly a show-stopper! From the glittery colors on her bike to the vibrant Good Vibes Stencil Set (3 in 1) background in the photo, we just don't know what to admire the most!
So, what projects will you make with the Mini Instant Camera Frame Die? Tell me in the comments below. From beautiful card photos to unique journal layouts, the possibilities are endless.

Till next time,
