XOXO & More Die Set
The XOXO & More Die Set includes five heartwarming and versatile sentiments that can be used by themselves or with their coordinating shadows. Adhere them to your projects as the perfect finishing touch!
Today I have two tags to share with you, showing you how to add dimension with layers and embossing folders.

Add Dimension with Embossing Folders
I first started out by die cutting two tags from Classic Crest 110lb Solar White Cardstock using one of the middle-sized tags in the Terrific Tags Die Set. One by one, I placed them inside the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Fragrant Florals Embossing Folder to add interest and dimension.
Then, I did some ink blending on top with Crisp Dye Inks and Small Ink Blending Tools.
PRO TIP: If you add the ink blending first, it adds some moisture to the cardstock and will prevent any cracking.

For the pink tag, I used the three darkest shades in the Cherry Blossom Crips Dye Ink Collection – Pinkalicious, Rubellite, and Razzleberry. Then, I added and blended Chamomile from the Golden Sunset Crips Dye Ink Collection, and where it blended with the pink, it created orange – so pretty!

For the blue tag, I used the three darkest shades from the Lapis Lazuli Crisp Dye Ink Collection – Eastern Sky, Ultramarine, and Azurite. Then, I blended Volcano Lake from the Sea Shore Crisp Dye Ink Collection at the top.

How to Add Dimension With Layers
I cut a small amount off of the tags on the right-hand side using a guillotine – approximately 3/16″.
Next, I die cut two more tags from the Essential Black & White Paper Pack. I added Instant Dimension Foam Tape to the back of the ink-blended ones and then adhered them on top. I love having the paper peek through on the right-hand side!

Adding the XOXO & More Sentiment
I took the ‘hello' and ‘smile' sentiments from the XOXO & More Die Set and cut the words themselves twice from Classic Crest 110lb Cardstock with Double-Sided Adhesive Sheet on the back. I cut the shadows from Vellum Translucent Paper.
I adhered the words onto the shadow pieces (so that they were two thickness high) and then adhered them to the tags. To finish off, I added twine through the top of the tags and tied it in a bow.
