Uplifting Sentiments

Spread joy and encouragement with uplifting sentiments. This delightful 4″ x 6″ Uplifting Sentiments Stamp Set includes seven heartwarming messages and a coordinating flower stamp. In perfect harmony with the Flower Shine set, craft compositions that evoke smiles. Illuminate someone's day with sincere words and the captivating allure of the blossoms.

The cards that I share today are super simple, but they look beautiful and will make anyone's day.

Uplifting Sentiments Colorful Watercolor

1. Start by misting your Artists' Watercolor 24 Pan Set generously.
2. On A2 Watercolor Cardstock, start by applying Cherry Blossom. Then, work in the Warm & Cozy pigment into it. Next, add Fiery Sunset pigment, Summer Afternoon, and Pocketful of Sunshine. Leave a bit of space and add Rain Forest pigment. Mix in a bit of Warm Sunshine with the green to make the green more yellow. Set aside to dry.
3. Stamp sentiment from the Uplifting Sentiments Stamp Set on Crest Solar White Cardstock in Obsidian Ink and use the coordinating die to cut it. To add sturdiness, you can die-cut 2-3 more layers of this and glue them together.
4. Once the panel is dry, add splatters of black watercolor.
5. Adhere the sentiment die-cut with Instant Dimension Foam Tape.
6. Adhere accents, which includes a second sentiment from Bold Sentiments Stamp Set, banners cut out of Essential Black and White Pattern Paper, and Dazzling Diamond Glitter Cardstock.
7. Adhere sequins if you want more bling.

Uplifting Sentiments Stencil Impression

1. Generously apply water on A2 Watercolor Cardstock.
2. Drop in the pigment of choice. I used Shades of Purple and Lapis Lazuli. Spread the pigment around and then add splotches of it as well.
3. While the panel is still wet, place Dotted Waves Stencil over the panel. Then, place the Flip Plate of the Stampwheel and some heavy items over it. Leave it to dry for an hour or so.
4. Die cut one of the hearts using the Halftone Hearts Nesting Die Set and Dazzling Diamond Glitter Cardstock.
5. Stamp and die cut sentiments from the Uplifting Sentiments Stamp Set. Layer it to make it sturdy.
6. After some time has passed, check on the watercolor panel by carefully removing the weights, the Flip Plate, and the stencil. It should reveal a stencil impression.
7. Dry the panel with a heat tool.
8. Add black paint splatters.
9. Adhere silver string, glitter heart, and the sentiment on the card front.
10. Add sequins for more bling.

Uplifting Sentiments Monochrome Elegance

1. On a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ panel of cardstock, stamp the image from the Bold Bouquet Stamp Set in Obsidian Ink slightly off the edge.
2. Using the stamp as a mask, add black and gold paint splatters (Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set). Set aside.
3. Heat emboss the sentiment from the Uplifting Sentiments Stamp Set in Pure White Embossing Powder. Die-cut with the coordinating die and layer it to make it sturdy.
4. Stamp a second sentiment in Obsiaidn Pigment Ink from the Elegant Sayings Stamp Set on a strip of cardstock.
5. Add a layer of Gilded Glitter Cardstock to show slightly from underneath the strip of cardstock. Then, adhere it over the card front with Instant Dimension Foam Tape.
6. Adhere the sentiment die-cut with foam tape as well.
