Boho Decor Ensemble
Altenew's Boho Decor Ensemble embraces an eclectic mix of relaxed, bold, and unconventional patterns and textures. It showcases a stunning arrow with whimsical feathers, some bohemian-inspired decorative vases, and a gorgeous yet intricately designed 3D Masonry Wall!
This ensemble includes:
I started by stamping the Boho Arrow onto a piece of 110lb Classic Solar Crest Cardstock using Permanent Crisp Black Ink. I then used Altenew Artist Markers to color the image. I chose to use Purple Wine, Aqualicious, and Chamomile. I then cut the image using the coordinating die.
Next, I set about creating the card base, I knew that I wanted to have a partial die-cut effect with an embossed panel behind. I added the Boho Arrow Die to my open card base and secured it with low tack tape. I then added my die-cutting top plate over the lower section of the arrow making sure that I did not cover the whole image. I used the straight line of the arrow to align the plate, when I run it through my die-cutting machine it only cuts where the top plate covers, cutting away the lower part of the image leaving me with a decorative edge. I used scissors to cut any little piece that needed tidying up before adhering the colored image over the top.
Next, I took a sheet of 110lb Classic Solar Crest Cardstock and ink blended it using Purple Wine Crisp Dye Ink, I then run it through my die-cutting machine with the Masonry Wall 3D Embossing Folder. I trimmed the embossed panel to measure 5.5″ by 4.25″ and adhered it to the card base behind the die-cut section, the bright color act as a bold contrast and gives a modern feel.
I stamped a sentiment from the Boho Arrow Stamp Set using Obsidian Pigment Ink and then added a few Enamel Dots from the Sea Shore, Fall Harvest, and Rose Petal Enamel dots sets.
