Hello Altenew friends! This is Virginia here. I am excited to share a few birthday cards with the Birthdays Around The World Stamp Set. It is extra special when you can convey the sentiment in your own language. With the “Think-Global” approach, this Birthdays Around The World Stamp Set was born.
Welcome to Creativity Unlocked, where we highlight a new product from this month’s new collection!
Keep on reading for more tips and project ideas using this new stamp set!
Birthdays Around the World Stamp Set
Inspired by our amazing multicultural design team, this stamp set features “Happy Birthday” written in 13 languages. We love offering stamp sets in different languages and are happy to add this one to our collection. Celebrate your family and friends around the world with this multicultural set!
These 17 stamps (including at least a dozen various languages) will surely get you covered in most ways of saying “happy birthday” in YOUR own way.
Floral Birthday Card with Vellum
First up, I created a multi-colored text background with the help of the Stampwheel. With each stamp in place, I could add various inks (Rainbow Prism), and re-stamp the text multiple times until a satisfactory result was reached.
To diffuse the colorful background just slightly, I added a strip of Vellum Translucent Paper. On top of that, I die cut the Sweet Blooms Die Set with Glitter Cardstock (Pink Brilliance).
This birthday stamp set not only makes it fun and easy to create, but it also colorfully conveys “Happy Birthday” in multiple languages!
PRO TIP: Don't forget to use the tiny pieces of Sweet Blooms Die Set to embellish the card!
Embossed Birthday Card
Are you in the mood for embossing? Then you will love the next design. With the Stampwheel, simply position and arrange the chosen sentiment and EMBOSS them in one go with Pure White Embossing Powder.
Then, I created a vellum overlay with Vellum Translucent Paper. Underneath the overlay, I die cut four sets of leaves from the Archways Die Set.
The vibrant Alcohol Ink Backgrounds 6×6 Paper Pack is perfect for die-cut leaves. I love the unexpected pops of colors from the edges. As for the gaps between sentiments? The Satin White Sequins are the perfect embellishment.
Birthday Card With Chinese Characters
I have two specific examples of using “Happy Birthday” (in Chinese). The first way is to use the stamp as is (with each character across). The Sweet Blooms Die Set and Woven Basket 3D Embossing Folder were used as accents here.
The 2nd way is to cut up the stamped Chinese character. Next, follow the order and arrange each character vertically. The beautiful patterns from Shattered Cubes Layering Stencils are the perfect backdrop.
As you can see, this Birthdays Around The World Stamp Set truly is very useful. Did you know there is a Hawaiian sentiment? You can absolutely pair it up with Hawaiian-themed stamps for another floral birthday card.
1 Product, Multiple Ways!
Before you go, here are a few card ideas featuring this new stamp set!
Lydia's birthday card is just a ray of sunshine! We love the pairing of the Carnival Canopy 3D Embossing Folder with the florals from the Groovy Garden Bundle.
Tenia's card is a treat for the eyes! The Hawaiian birthday sentiment, ” hauʻoli lā hānau,” looks so beautiful when paired with floral die-cuts, as mentioned above. Her signature x is the perfect accent to her CAS card!
Last but not least, our last card is a stunning floral card from Virginia featuring the lovely Sweet Blooms Die Set! Her arrangement of the die-cuts is just stunning, making this the perfect birthday card!
What about you – how will YOU use the Birthdays Around The World Stamp Set? We hope that this versatile stamp helps you spread kindness on a wider scale! I hope this post got your creative juices flowing. Thank you so much for stopping by!
