Hi everyone!
Erum here today with a few projects featuring the Engagement Wishes Stamp Set. My cards are all really quick but pretty looking cards that you can whip up if you are in a hurry. All my cards also feature the beautiful Blush Cardstock.
Stamp Focus: Engagement Wishes
For my first card, I did a bit of masking and stamped a border with Clear Embossing Ink and then heat embossed with Cyrstal Clear Embossing Powder. Next, I used Frosty Pink Artist Marker to add a bit of color starting from the petals near the flower center and moving outwards in a flicking motion. I didn't cover the entire petal and that is what creates interest.
To finish off, I used the Coral Berry Artist Marker on the anthers and then adhered a few clear drops for interest. I also went over the stamped design with a shimmer brush. To stamp the sentiment, I used Coral Berry Crisp Dye Ink and heat embossed it with Crystal Clear Embossing Powder.
Okay, so if you have seen the Altenew Golden Peach and Platinum Embossing Powders, you would know that they are gorgeous and it's hard to choose one between the two. So, for my second card, I heat embossed one flower and two leaves in Pure White, Golden Peach, and Platinum Embossing Powders on vellum.
Next, I colored on the backside of the images with Coral Berry Artist Marker to add a little pop of color. I fussy cut the images out and then began working on the card front. For this, I cut out two strips of cardstock.
For the Golden Peach card, I heat embossed the strips with the Golden Peach Embossing Powder. To make the white and silver cards, I used white cardstock and Silver Glitter Tape respectively.
I adhered the images with hot glue so that it wouldn't show off from the front since it's clear. To finish off, I heat embossed the sentiments on all the card fronts and adhered them to their bases.
For my last card, I used the layout of the first card. Instead of stamping directly on the card, I stamped on a piece of vellum with Clear Embossing Ink and heat embossed the image with Pure White Embossing Powder.
I did a bit of masking on this piece as well to make my border look like an overlapping floral design.
Next, I fussy cut the vellum piece from one edge and adhered it to my card front. To add a bit more feminine touch, I added a few pearls on the anthers. I also applied shimmer brush over the stamped area. To finish off, I heat embossed the sentiment and added a couple more pearls.
I hope you liked my quick but pretty cards. FYI, I made all these in a day and I could make many more similar cards if I could.
I have a process video that you can watch below or on YouTube.
