Hi there everyone! Erum here with you today with Creative Coloring with Erum. And I have a special post for you today where I will be sharing a card featuring Mini Delight: Polar Bear Stamp and Die Set. Not only that, but also, I will cover how to watercolor the same background using three different mediums; Artists Watercolor Pan Set, Woodless Watercolor Pencils, and the Watercolor Brush Markers by Altenew.
Firstly, on A2 Watercolor Cardstock, I applied water and added pigment from the Cool Summer Night Pan. Keep the concentration darker in the middle. If there is a need, you can dab the edges with tissue paper for a softer look. Next, add splatters of dark pigment onto the panel of different shades of blue, including black for interest.
Use a brush tip pen from the Fine Liner Pen Set to draw trees and then add pigment from the Rock Collection to soften the look. After this, add a diluted pigment of the same to the ground.
For the “snow”, add tons of white splatters. To do this, I used white chalk paint.
To add a light color to the bear, add inking with the help of a Small Blending Brush and Vanilla Cream Dye Ink. And adhere it to the card front with foam tape. Adhere the panel onto Pale Gray Cardstock with foam tape.
As you can see in the photo above, the panel on the left is colored with the Woodless Watercolor Pencils and the one on the right with Watercolor Brush Markers. Below is a look at all the three panels together.
You should definitely watch my video below or on YouTube to see how this gorgeous background was created using all three different mediums.

Gorgeous colors! Thank you for this wonderful tutorial! It reminds us you don’t have to use a medium you’re not comfortable with to get great results.
I love them all!!!!
They’re all pretty but I like the woodless water color pencils. Just my preference. The polar bear is really cute!
Stunning!
