Now, let's get on with our card tutorials and blog hop!
Watercolor Garden Die Set
To begin, I die cut all the pieces of Watercolor Garden Die Set out of the Summer Afternoon Gradient Cardstock. There were a lot of pieces so I ended up making two cards! For the leaves, I used one of the browns from the Coffee Break Artist Marker Set to make the Paper Bag shade a tad darker than the one used on the flower. Then, I adhered all the die-cuts together.
Before adhering the die-cuts onto the card front, I inked the border of my panel with Mountain Pine and Emerald Dye Inks. Once the floral arrangement was in place, I added splatters of gold from the 14 Pan Metallic Watercolor Set.
To finish, I adhered the Satin Gold Sequins.
For my second card, I decided to use a cream-colored cardstock. And keep the arrangement simpler.
So, I was able to create two cards out of one set of the die-cuts.
Essential Sentiment Strips Die Set
This is a super simple looking card but with my not-so-good measuring skills, I had trouble getting that panel cut straight. It still looks a bit wonky. But it's the message that counts! The die featured here is the Essential Sentiment Strips Die Set.
The top three colors are from the Gradient Cardstocks and the sentiment is from the Sincere Greetings Stamp Set. The card front is of Pale Gray Cardstock, another favorite of mine from Altenew.
Jumbo Garden Picks 3D Die Set
You will find the video for this soon after the project photos end. Here we have the Jumbo Garden Picks 3D Die Set framed within the Thin Frames 3D Die Set.
I used 24 Pan Artists' Watercolor to color the die-cuts. These were cut out of the 9×12 Watercolor Paper Pad. To color, I used the Red Cosmos, Warm and Cozy, and Tea Party Watercolors.
After arranging the florals, I added fine splatters of white chalk paint.
