Now, let’s get on with our card tutorials and blog hop!
Watercolor Garden Die Set
To begin, I die cut all the pieces of Watercolor Garden Die Set out of the Summer Afternoon Gradient Cardstock. There were a lot of pieces so I ended up making two cards! For the leaves, I used one of the browns from the Coffee Break Artist Marker Set to make the Paper Bag shade a tad darker than the one used on the flower. Then, I adhered all the die-cuts together.
Before adhering the die-cuts onto the card front, I inked the border of my panel with Mountain Pine and Emerald Dye Inks. Once the floral arrangement was in place, I added splatters of gold from the 14 Pan Metallic Watercolor Set.
To finish, I adhered the Satin Gold Sequins.
For my second card, I decided to use a cream-colored cardstock. And keep the arrangement simpler.
So, I was able to create two cards out of one set of the die-cuts.
Essential Sentiment Strips Die Set
This is a super simple looking card but with my not-so-good measuring skills, I had trouble getting that panel cut straight. It still looks a bit wonky. But it’s the message that counts! The die featured here is the Essential Sentiment Strips Die Set.
Jumbo Garden Picks 3D Die Set
After arranging the florals, I added fine splatters of white chalk paint.
