Hi! Happy Monday, everyone! Can you believe we are at the end of August?! We had five Mondays this month which means that I made five coloring videos for you. And this is the last installment for this month. I hope you will check all the videos I so lovingly made for you guys.
Today, I will share with you a watercolor card featuring this month's Paint-a-Flower: Calla Lily. In case you didn't know, we have a monthly subscription plan for our Paint-a-Flower series, which you can check out HERE.
I started by stamping the image on A2 Watercolor Cardstock in Obsidian Ink. Next, I used Crystal Clear Embossing Powder to heat emboss it. To color, I used Ruby Red Watercolor Brush Marker from the Winter Wonderland Set. Then I used Warm Sunshine pigment from the Artists' Watercolor Pan Set and blended it a bit with the red. The third color that I added was Tropical Forest, which is green and I blended this a bit with the yellow.
For texture, I took the brush marker and added stippling directly to both the flowers and leaves. To color the leaves, I used various green shades from the Artists' Watercolor Pan Set. My main green pigment was added from Moss Watercolor Brush Marker from the Spring Garden Set.
Once done, I added fine black paint splatters and stamped the sentiment. To finish off, I mounted the panel onto a card base with foam tape.
You can watch the process video on Youtube or below.
I hope you enjoyed coloring with me!
See you next Monday with another coloring video! Stay safe and happy!
