Hi there, friends!
I have an easy watercolor card to share with you today featuring the Ruffled Flowers Stamp Set.
I heat embossed the bunches from the Ruffled Flowers Stamp Set onto Watercolor Cardstock in Embossing Ink. Next, I used Golden Peach Embossing Powder to emboss it. I used the Artists' Watercolors to paint the images and the background of my card.
Watercolor Florals
For the flowers, I used Cherry Blossom Watercolor. First, I applied a light color wash and then dropped in darker pigment in the center and let it spread. For the leaves, I used Rainforest for the first layer and Tropical Forest Watercolor to add depth.
Watercolor Background
For the background, I used the Dotted Swirls Debossing Cover Die to deboss a pattern on the watercolor cardstock. Next, I applied a color wash of Sea Shore Watercolor mainly on the left side of the panel. I also added splatters of the same color to the panel. Also, to add interest, I added splatters of Forest Glades Metallic Ink Spray. Once dry, I added splatters of black watercolor from the 36 Pan Watercolor Set.
I then adhered the images in the shape of a floral vine with foam tape and popped my sentiment. To finish, I added a few Satin Gold Sequins.
