Hi, there everyone!! I have three card designs to share today with you featuring the Delicate Bouquet Stamp Set.

Heat Embossing on Dark or Colored Cardstock

This is a lovely stamp set, I had so many ideas but so little time! First up, I heat embossed the Delicate Bouquet Stamp twice on black cardstock. To do so, I used the Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder. Next, I fussy cut the design out. On a card panel, I added splatters of black paint from the 36 Pan Watercolor Set. Then I adhered to the panel, the two fussy cut images in a way to form a nice, eye-catching layout.

To finish, I stamped the sentiment in Obsidian Ink. And for some sparkle, I adhered a few sequins.

You can use colored cardstock too and different embossing powder. Gold also will look fantastic I believe!

Ink Blending and Cutting the Image Apart/ Stamp Surgery!

Well, I do a lot of stamp surgery, not on my stamps mind you! But on my stamped images. To start, I heat embossed the image on Crest Solar White Cardstock. Again, I used the Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder. Next, I cut up the flowers, buds, and leaves out. Then I used, Purple Wine and Butternut Dye Inks to ink the flowers with the help of a blending brush. For the leaves, I used Firefly and Grass Field Dye Inks.

Next, I applied a light color wash of Green Hills Watercolor from the Artists' Watercolor 24 Pan Set. I inked the strip with Lime Watercolor Brush Marker and it matched perfectly with the other greens! After this, I adhered the images on foam tape to form a floral vine. So you can take this bouquet apart and recreate another bouquet or a vine! If you like fussy cutting that is :)

Easy Alcohol Marker Coloring

I have a video for this! It's so easy, you know I always try my best to bring to you techniques that are easy to follow and replicate. This one is no different! I started by stamping the image in Permanent Black Ink on Crest Solar White Cardstock. Next, I used Crimson, Peach Perfect, Frosty Pink Artist Markers for the flowers. And for the leaves I used, Paper Bag, Caramel Toffee, and Warm Sunshine. Fussy cut the image out and set it aside.

For the card panel, I planned to adhere the Delicate Bouquet image onto the panel diagonally. So, I applied water to the panel in a diagonal fashion, a little above the mid of the panel. Then started adding Tea Party Watercolor, mixed with a bit of yellow (any yellow would work to match the color of the flower). I also added a bit of Delectable Delights+Coffee Break Watercolor mixture from the Artists' Watercolor 24 Pan Set. I added a lot of splatters of the same watercolors. For interest, I even added splatters of Gold watercolor from the Metallic Watercolor Set. Once done, I used foam tape to adhere the image. To finish, I added a few Satin Gold Sequins.

You can watch the process video below or at the Altenew YouTube channel.

I loved your video! I learned so much about colours and shading. This card is absolutely stunning!
I have no idea why, but I have never thought to do a watercolour background with an alcohol marker colouring. And the two colours matched so perfectly together. I really like how you water coloured just the bottom half.

The black and white card is actually my favouite. Simple but oh so beautiful! That really is such a pretty stamp set.
