Hi there everyone! Erum here today with a fun card featuring an easy watercolor technique that I call the splatter watercolor.
- On A2 Watercolor Cardstock stamp images from the Garden Delights Stamp Set in Embossing Ink.
- Cover the panel with Pure White Embossing Powder and heat set.
- If you want to color the flowers and leaves in different colors, cut out or separate the flowers and leaves.
- Spritz water over the panel or apply it with a paintbrush.
- For the splatter watercolor technique, add splatters of Sea Shore pigment from the Artists Watercolor 24 Pan Set.
- Next, add splatters of Lapis Lazuli pigment.
- To the flower centers, apply Cool Summer Night pigment.
- You can slightly move the pigment around if you want to but don't overdo it. Set it aside to air dry.
- Repeat the same with the leaves. Use Cool Summer Nights and Sea Shore pigment and make the leaves darker than the flowers.
- Once dry, use the coordinating dies to die cut them.
- Trim Moonrock Cardstock an inch smaller than the card front.
- To this, add fine black paint splatters.
- Adhere this onto the card base with foam tape.
- To the card front, adhere flowers with Instant Dimension Foam Tape.
- Pinch the tips of the leaves and then adhere them with liquid adhesive.
- Stamp the sentiment in Obsidian Ink and adhere it with foam tape.
- To finish, add a few sequins.
