Hello! Happy Monday everyone! I have a lovely card to share with you today featuring the beautiful, newly released Build-A-Flower Wild Rose Stamp Set.
Begin by stamping the images from the Build-A-Flower Wild Rose Stamp Set onto A2 Watercolor Cardstock in Embossing Ink. I have used Crystal Clear Embossing Powder but you can use Golden Peach, Antique Gold, or Rose Gold!
Watercolor
Next, apply water onto the image or color this petal by petal, it is completely up to you. Then apply a diluted pigment of Cherry Blossom and add a hint of Tea Party pigment from the Artists' Watercolor 24 Pan Set. For the leaves, use Tropical Forest, Rain Forest, and Summer Afternoon. You have to watch the video to see how I colored the leaves, it is super easy. I used a heat tool to dry the images and then added splatters on the leaves and the flowers of the colors that I used to paint them with.
Once the images were dry, I used the coordinating dies to die-cut them. Then I set these aside.
After this, I applied a light color wash of the darkest green pigment that I used on the leaves. And while it was still wet, I dropped in a bit of the pinks of the flower on the edges of this color wash. I set this aside to dry. When it dried, I added fine black paint splatters and set the panel aside.
Arrangement
Next, I die-cut the Burlap Texture Die out of Dazzling Diamond Glitter Cardstock. I snipped this off so that I would be able to arrange it in a way that it peeks through from behind my floral arrangement.
I adhered the glittery die-cut with liquid glue. And then adhered the images with foam tape. For extra sparkle, I added a few crystals. For the finishing touch, I filled in the stamens with a white gel pen.
You can watch the process video below or on YouTube.
