Now, let's move on to today's projects.
Watercolor Card
Start by stamping the Paint-A-Flower: White Swan Echinacea Online Stamp Set on A2 Watercolor Cardstock in Obsidian Pigment Ink. Maneuver your stamp in a way to get the left edge of the panel covered with stamping. Use Artists' Watercolor 24 Pan Set to color the panel.
First, apply Green Meadows pigment around the flowers and leaves, as in on the background. Keep this concentrated on the left edge and dilute it as you move towards the right. Once done, add color to the leaves. For the greens, I used Rain Forest and Tropical Forest. And for the flowers, I used a very diluted Rock Collection Pigment.
To finish, I stamped the sentiment and adhered the panel to a card base.
Easy Vellum Flowers
Start by stamping the Paint-A-Flower: White Swan Echinacea Outline Stamp Set twice on vellum in Embossing Ink. Next, pour over Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder and heat set it. Flip over the vellum and use two shades of pink, purple, teal, yellow, and green Artist markers to color the backside of the images.
Pink: Pinkalicious and Rubellite
Purple: Hydrangea and Ultraviolet
Teal: Aqualicious and Galactic Stream
Yellow: Fresh Lemon and Honey Drizzle
Green: Grass Fileds and Mountain Pine
The markers listed above are from the Sunshine Valley Garden and the Water Garden Artist Markers Sets. Once the coloring is done, fussy cut the images out and set them aside.
On a 5″ x 3 3/4″ piece of cardstock, add a few black paint splatters. Next, to the bottom edge of this panel, adhere a strip of the Double-Sided Adhesive Sheet. Remove the backing from the Double-Sided Adhesive Sheet and adhere the images. After this, stamp the sentiment in Obsidian Pigment Ink.
To finish, mount the panel with foam tape onto a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ card base.
You can watch the process video below or on YouTube in HD.
