Hi there! Erum here with a new project featuring the Paint-A-Flower: Fashion Monger Dahlia Stamp Set.
Start by stamping the image from the Paint-A-Flower: Fashion Monger Dahlia Stamp Set onto A2 Watercolor Cardstock in Obsidian Pigment Ink. Heat set it so it doesn't smear.
Use Artists' 24 Pan Set to color the panel by adding a light color wash of green. Built it up as layers by increasing the concentration of the pigment. You can watch the video below to see how I created the background. Once this is done, add the color of the flower where the florals are and pull it out slightly outside of the floral outline. Similarly, built-up layers until you are happy with the look.
Add splatters to create a nice blend and to add texture. On the lower portion of the panel, add a dark pigment and then draw stems and grass, freehand. Once the panel is dry, stamp the sentiment and mount the panel onto the card base.
You can watch the video below or on YouTube.

So beautiful!
This is stunning! I love your fearless approach to watercoloring and I am impressed with your artistic eye which helps you see when you need to add more color. I’m working on that with my watercoloring! Lol!
