Hi there everyone! Erum here with a simple card to share that is easy to put together. My card features the Adore You Add-On Stamp, Berry Branch Stamp that I will use as an accent, and the Illusion Triangles 3D Embossing Folder.
To begin, stamp the flower images from the Adore You Add On Stamp onto Pink Diamond Cardstock from the Cherry Blossom Gradient Cardstock Set in Obsidian Ink. Stamp the leaves on a pattern paper from the Essential Rock Collection Paper Pack.
Use colors from the Artists' Watercolor 24 Pan Set to add pigment to the flowers as stippling. You already have a base layer, You just need to add a bit of color to show some texture. This is fake it till you make it kind of a technique!
To do this, always start with a light concentration. You can build up color layers as you go. I only added two layers, one slightly darker than the cardstock and the other a little more concentrated. If you want your stippling to be more prominent, I will suggest that you dry between the layers of colors that you add. Once I was done, I fussy cut the image right along the outline.
Add a bit f pink color to the berries as well.
I embossed a panel of cardstock using the Illusion Triangles 3D Embossing Folder. Next, I lightly applied Silver Lake Dye Ink to it with a Large Blending Tool. After this, I adhered the panel to the card base.
Next, I adhered a strip of pattern paper from the Essential Rock Collection Paper Pack onto a piece of cardstock one inch smaller than the card front. Then I added black paint splatters to this. Remember to mask off the pattern paper when you do this. Add white gel pen detail to the flowers for interest. Then adhere the images and stamp the sentiment from the Sentiment Strips 2 Stamp Set. To finish, adhere the panel onto the card front with foam tape.
The card is super simple to put together. I hope you will give it a try. This is especially great for those who are scared of watercolor!
