Altenew Leaf Clusters Stamp Tall TaleBookmark Die Dye Inks 1wm

I used the Tall Tale Bookmark Die and the Leaf Clusters Stamp Set for my project. First, I die-cut the 9 x 12 Watercolor Cardstock using the Tall Tale Bookmark Die. Next, I applied water onto the bookmark making sure I covered the left side a tad higher up than the right. After this, I dropped in Fuchsia Crisp Dye Ink diluted with water. To add interest, I also added splatters of the same while the panel was still wet. Then I added color from Hydrangea Crisp Dye Ink.

I kept building my base layer till I was happy with the look. Once I was done, I used the heat gun to dry the panel. Next, stamp the images from the Leaf Clusters Stamp Set onto the bookmark in Fuchsia Crisp Dye Ink. Then use a fine paintbrush to apply water to the leaves and drop in Magenta and Ultraviolet Crisp Dye Ink pigment. I also used a bit of Cosmic Berry Crisp Dye Ink in some places.

I didn't add the Ultraviolet Crisp Dye Ink to all the leaves. Most of the leaves only had the Magenta Crisp Dye Ink. After the leaves were colored, I used a very diluted pigment of Andromeda Crisp Dye Ink and added freehand sprigs. The intention behind this was to make the foliage appear fuller.

Then I dried the panel and added more prominent splatters. I also added very fine black paint splatters. To finish, I tied a couple of matching ribbons.
