Hi there, everyone! I am back (after a bit) with a dramatic floral card featuring Wallpaper Art Stamp Set. And I will be using only brown and red to color my panel!
The Floral Arrangement
To start, apply antistatic powder on A2 Watercolor Cardstock. Stamp one of the flowers from the Wallpaper Art Stamp Set in Obsidian Pigment Ink. Now, pour over Crystal Clear Crisp Embossing Powder and heat set it. Once done, cover the image with the coordinating mask from the Wallpaper Art Mask Stencil Set. Next, stamp the second flower, heat emboss it, and cover it with a mask stencil. Now, keep on repeating this pattern until you have built your floral arrangement.
The Flowers and Leaves
Once done, use Ruby Red Watercolor Brush Marker and apply pigment onto the petals where you want to show depth or shadow. Next, use a wet paintbrush to activate the pigment and move it outwards. When you are close to the tip of the petal, clean the paintbrush and then spread the pigment with a clean brush. This will reduce the concentration of the pigment and result in lighter petal tips. Color all the petals in the same manner.
For the leaves, apply Tree Bark Watercolor Brush Marker pigment just as you applied Ruby Red. Then spread it out a bit, keeping the edges of the leaves and tip fairly lighter. Add Yellow Ochre pigment to the edges of the leaves.
The Background
For the background, apply the Tree Bark Watercolor Brush Marker and leave a bit of the right edge as is. Then use a wet paintbrush to activate the pigment. Work on the background until you are happy with the look.
Once the background is slightly dry, cover the flowers and add water splatters. Use a tissue to pick up the water droplets. When the panel is dry, adhere it to a card base. Then add the sentiment by heat embossing it onto black cardstock in Rose Gold Crisp Embossing Powder.
