Hello friends, Svitlana is here. Today, I want to share a scenic mushroom card made using the recently released Mushroom Greetings Bundle. I recently shared another card made using this cute set, but I still wanted to create more!
My card showcases a serene moonlit night in a whimsical mushroom garden.
Crafting a Scenic Mushroom Card
I started making the card by creating the background. First, I blended the Turquoise, Midnight Violet, and Jet Black Dye Inks onto a Solar White panel. I then added clouds using the Cloud Scene Stencil with Tide Blue, Starlight, and Jet Black Dye Inks.
For additional interest and texture, I added water splatters onto the background.
Next, I created the moon using the To The Moon Stamp Set and Sea Breeze, Turquoise, and Tide Blue Dye Inks. The moon was die-cut with the matching die.
After that, I created several blue and yellow mushrooms using the Mushroom Greetings Bundle. I stamped mushrooms with the Jet Black Dye Ink onto a Solar White Cardstock and die-cut them using the coordinating die.
Next, I blended the Turquoise and Tide Blue Dye Inks on one set of mushrooms. Mango Smoothie and Warm Sunshine Dye Inks created the yellow ones. I colored the dots on the mushrooms using markers of matching colors.
I made the sentiment using a stamp and die from the same Mushroom Greetings Bundle. It was white embossed onto a Jet Black Cardstock and die-cut after that.
I foam-mounted the background panel onto a white card base using the Instant Dimension Foam Tape. I followed by adhering all stamped and die-cut elements onto it. The moon and sentiment were foam mounted as well. As far as the mushrooms go, I adhered some flat, and some popped up, creating a couple of layers.
And there you have it, another scenic mushroom card! Does the whimsy of woodland magic also enchant you? What designs do you have in mind with this bundle? Do let me know in the comments below!
