Hello there everyone! Happy Friday! Lydia here. Today I'll be sharing how you can create a fun and festive spinner card.
I started by stamping the solid circle from Lovely Ornaments Stamp Set using Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades Inks twice onto a piece of white cardstock. I then stamped over these using the ocean images from Big World Stamp Set using Embossing Ink and heat setting using Caribbean Sky Embossing Powder. The circle die from Big World Die Set was used to cut around these. For the sentiment on these I used Lovely Ornaments Stamp Set. The sentiment was stamped using Obsidian Ink and then heat set using Crystal Clear Embossing Powder. I added some Antique Gold Twine through the center at the back of one of the die cuts before adding the die cuts together. This is your spinner mechanism.
Next I cut one of the dies from Halftone Circles Nesting Die Set into place onto a 3″ x 5 1/2″ panel of Velvet Cardstock. And also into the front of a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ white card base. Make sure you use a die that is slightly larger so the element can spin freely. I then added the element to the back of the red panel by adhering the twine down the center line. This panel was then attached into place on the card base.
To finish I added the globe stand from Big World Die Set cut from Golden Beryl litter Cardstock.
