Copic Coloring over Colorful Outline Images

by May Sukyong Park

Happy Monday! It’s May here and today I’m sharing a colorful one layer card. To create my own images, I used an amazing technique that I've never tried before. Here is what I came up with:

I started by stamping the flowers from Hennah Elements with colored pigment inks in various colors. I used masking technique along the way to add some dimension in my card. Then I heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. As you probably notice, I didn't use watermark ink which I used to reach out for heat embossing technique.

Next, I colored the flowers with Copic markers inspired by this image after stamping some swirl images and dots in the gap.

To finish my card off, I added clear glitter on the flowers for some sparkle and interest.

Don't you love that the flower images have colorful outlines? That made my card to look so vibrant and cheery! I’m so happy with how it turned out. :)

I almost forgot to mention that I used a bold ‘hello' from Super Script for the sentiment. Hope you love my card and get some inspiration. Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy crafting!
