Altenew Paint-A-Flower Stamp Sets can be used for many different techniques, but as its name implies, its biggest feature is that they are perfect to be painted. That's what I did for the card I’m sharing today.

Paint-A-Flower: Magnolia Grandiflora Stamp Set
The Magnolia Grandiflora is an evergreen tree that is noted for its glossy dark green leaves and its large, fragrant flowers. This stamp set features a gorgeous arrangement of a pair of realistic-looking Magnolia
Grandiflora flowers and some leaves. We have also included complementary heartwarming sentiments!
A Gorgeous Gouache Artwork With Magnolia Grandiflora
I started making my card by stamping the large floral from the Paint-A-Flower: Magnolia Grandiflora Stamp Set onto a green cardstock panel using white pigment ink. After that, I started coloring it using the Artists Gouache Set: Strolling Through New York.
The beauty of this coloring medium is that it's opaque. Hence, it can be used on non-white cardstock, which really expands your design options. Plus, Altenew's gouache is extremely good and so easy to work with!
I colored each element (petals, leaves) separately from the ones right next to it. Since the gouache is opaque, it covered the white ink stamping. In fact, you wouldn’t see an element's outline edge if I had another element covered with gouache as well!
First, I laid down a lighter color onto a whole element. Then, I added strokes using darker paint in the areas where the element would get shadows.
After I finished coloring the floral element, I also made a gouache background wash all around it to make the whole panel look like it was painted. This technique made it more cohesive, in my opinion.
For additional interest, I also added some Pure White Ink Spray splatters.
After that, I foam-mounted the panel onto a white card base using the Instant Dimension Foam Tape.
I made a sentiment label using the One-Go Birthday Greetings Stamp & Die Bundle. It was white embossed into Jet Black Cardstock and die-cut using the matching die.
Lastly, I added several “off-white” enamel dots from the Warm Gray Enamel Dots set.
