Card with Washi Tape

by Sveta Fotinia

Hello everyone!

Today I'm going to show you one more idea for a quick card. This time, I decided to play with my new wide washi tape – Floral Flurries Washi Tape.

SvetaFotinia 5879I simply cut the washi tape into three pieces: two for the front and one for the back of the card.

I adhered the front pieces to the upper and lower sides of the card so it looks like one piece in the center is missing and then added a sentiment there.
SvetaFotinia 5881For the sentiment, I used the “hello” from the Bejeweled Stamp Set and the “love” from Script Words Die Set.

SvetaFotinia 5886 SvetaFotinia 5888I used the third piece of washi tape to decorate the back side of my card. This makes my card look unusual and adds interest.

SvetaFotinia 5891How often do you use washi tapes and in what way?

I would love to hear from you in the comments section!

Thanks for stopping by today!

I’ve used washi tape on my cards many times in the past but haven’t used it recently because I keep forgetting about them. Time to get out the washi tape and get crafting!

Beautiful card, I love those wide washi tapes. I have never used it on a card, only on envelopes.

Beautiful card! Is it difficult to handle the wide washi tape? Any tricks about applying it straight and without getting creases? Maybe there is a video with tips that I missed. TIA

I’m so excited. I have this beautiful washi tape and now can use your design to make my own card – sorry, but I love it so much and I’m a whole world away from you in Australia so my card-lifting should be okay. Hehehe. Your card is just gorgeous – thanks for sharing with us. Love this washi tape!
