Now, let's see some beautiful projects made with this new stamp and die set!

09012020-BAF Clover-Pegboard Canvas Cover Die-Gilded Ombre Washi Tape
For my first card, I decided to stamp the clover in purple. I couldn't decide which set of purple ink to use, so I stamped the middle clover flower in Enchanted Garden Oval Ink and the brighter two with Shades of Purple.

The color contrast and details are further enhanced thanks to the detailed etched stamps. The leaves were stamped in Tropical Forest Oval Ink.  I absolutely adore how realistic the leaves look!

For the background, I ran the Pegboard Canvas Cover Die with my die cut machine. Because the cut was imperfect, I purposely used the “rustic” backdrop for the flowers. I then stamped and cut the sentiment and adhered it to the design.

I embellished the card with Gilded Ombre Washi Tape and Tropical Forest Enamel Dots. Because I love the sentiment so much, I created a bonus card. Hope you like it!

All the cards are beautiful. I am not going to pick a favorite because all of them are unique and convey a different perspective. It is neat to see the variety. The layering makes it so much easier for newbies, like me. Victoria, enjoy your cruises. I imagine you get a ton of inspiration from your journeys. I know I would. 😁. Thanks for showing us your work. It is inspiring.

Clover brings back lots of sweet summer memories. I’m so anxious to get out my purples and color away some time.
How did you stamp the stripe on the 3D frame die?

Reply
Virginia L. September 1, 2020 - 11:35 AM

Thanks for noticing the green stripe! I used ” A Love for Stripes Set C” for the 3D Thin Frame Die! It is SO easy to use pattern paper for this purpose! https://altenew.com/products/a-love-for-stripes-set-c-6×6-paper-pack

Love the look of the pegboard background with the clover! The pieces that are left in really add a cool touch and make it easier as you don’t have to worry about getting all the pieces out! Like the look of the kraft card stock with the white pegboard die cut. The colors are perfect!

I just adore this stamp set, it reminds me of the country fields I just to pick wild strawberries when I was a child in Maine. As a card making newbie, I enjoy looking at the way others have designed their cards, hoping to use their idea’s to improve my skills. Thank You, Virginia!
