Hello crafty friends!  It's Laurie here with another quick and easy card!  Today I created a bold sentiment using Altenew inks and their amazing Ink Blending Tools.

Altenew MegaHello3

First, I grabbed the new Build-A-Flower: Tree Peony Stamp Set and stamped the large bloom on a card panel.  Using the Ink Blending Tools, I added Heartbeat ink, blended into Orange Cream, blended into Sunkissed.  It's the perfect color combo for a sunrise!  Next, I grabbed the Mega Hello Die and die cut the sentiment right out of the ink blended card panel.  It gives just the right amount of detail for the sentiment.

There are so many possibilities with this technique.  Stamping and ink blending on cardstock in different variations can really create so many different looks.  Another idea is to die cut your sentiment and then use the stencil to dry emboss, giving your sentiment die lots of texture.

After die cutting one more Mega Hello out of fun foam, I layered the 2 pieces together for the dimensional hello.  Using Jet Black Ink, I added in some stenciling with the Classy Stripes stencil. To finish off the card, I added the die cut to the card front and layered it onto a gray card base.  Super quick and easy!

What a great and timely idea! I have the “Mega Thanks” die and need to send several thank you cards to both males and females. This will make quick and applicable cards!
