Hello there everyone and a very happy Friday! Lydia here. Today I'll be sharing ho you can get to different background looks using masking.
For the first card I masked off 1/2″ from all sides of a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ panel of Parchment Cardstock. I then added a mask created from copy paper and Vintage Garden Die Set. Then I added Antique Gold over the masking. Once this as done I then removed all of the masking and stamped in the image from Vintage Garden Stamp Set into the negative space.
For the second card I stamped the same image all over a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ panel of Parchment Cardstock using Obsidian Ink. I added masks over all of the images and when over the masking with Antique Gold Ink. Then removed the masks.
I then added shading to each of the stamped images using Vintage Garden Simple Coloring Stencil and Milk Chocolate Ink. The sentiments are from Mega Label Love Stamp Set. To add a little interest I also added Jet Black Enamel Dots.
