Be Strong, Be You and Be Happy!

Hello friends! First things first, I have to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for leaving such uplifting comments on my post. Thank you SO much for all the love and appreciation you have shown me. If I had an option for emoticons this paragraph would be filled with hearts!

I have a non floral card to share with you today using the Be Strong Stamp Set. Also this is my very first try with Altenew's Artist Markers Set A! I am usually a pencil girl through and through (I do love my Crayola markers though HA!). But  maybe that is because I have never tried alcohol markers and after using these for the first time, I now know why everyone loves alcohol markers so much! They are really super easy to use and the result is just WOW.

To start I stamped repeatedly in a random fashion one of the cactus images from the Be Strong Stamp Set on Classic Crest Solar White cardstock using Versafine in Onyx Black.

I have been planning to make this card since I have had this stamp but didn't get a chance till today. I wanted to create a panel with repeated stamping. Then colour all images the same colour except for one, to make that one image stand out so that it goes with this particular sentiment in the set “Be You & Be Happy”.

My coral cactus looks super fabulous! I added some sparkle with my gel pen and then covered the image with glossy accents.

Artist Markers used are Frosty Pink, Coral Berry and Ruby Red for the pink cactus and Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades and Evergreen for the greens.

I stamped the sentiment on black cardstock, heat embossed it in white and added a banner in Coral Berry to match my “unique” cactus.

I hope you liked my card. I believe this Be Strong StampSet is perfect for all year round cards. I know I will be using this a lot since the images are cute and there are just tons of possibilities with this set.
