August 2023 Marvelous Monthly Series

Ready for some breathtaking paper crafting? Enjoy designing with sweet buttercups, lilies, whimsical blooms, a succulent, and more! This release has all you need for unique cardmaking, scrapbooking, and journaling projects. Your ideas will burst to life from paper once you add these fun products to your stash. We can’t wait to see what you create!

Today. I'll be playing with the new Build-A-Garden Bougainvillea and creating a beautiful monochrome look. I started the large image from Build-A-Garden Bougainvillea Stamp Set twice onto a piece of Blush Cardstock using Sand Dunes Ink. When stamped, I colored the images using the coordinating Simple Coloring Stencils. I used Rouge Ink for the flowers and Cloud White Ink for the leaves and stems. After the ink blending was completed, I added extra shading and detail using Coral Bliss Pencil from the Woodless Coloring Pencils Set. These were then die cut using the coordinating die. For the background, I repeatedly stamped the same image I used before onto a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ panel of Blush Cardstock. The die cut images were added to this panel using a little Instant Dimension Foam Tape, and then some splatter was added using Pure White Ink Spray. The sentiment comes from the same stamp set as the image. To see how this card came together please watch the video below or over on YouTube:
