Whimsical Fairy Tale
You will feel like you entered a fairy tale with this fun and whimsical release! The embossing folders will add that extra bit of dimension you need to take your project to the next level. Want to step it up a bit more? Add coloring with blending tools, markers, or pencils. This release is finished with a 6×6 follow-up to our popular Double Rainbow Slim Stencil. It's time to start fantasizing about what you will create!
Project Inspiration
Today, I'll be showing you how you can recycle packing to create really easy shaker cards.
I started with a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. Then placed Double Rainbow Stencil over it and inked through using Pink Pearl, Chamomile, Minty Mint, Volcano Lake, and Wisteria Inks. I removed the stencil before embossing the panel using Flower Bed 3D Embossing Folder. Once embossed, I then placed the stencil back into place and inked again, this time using Coral Bliss, Snapdragon, Sweet Leaf, Lagoon, and Hydrangea Inks. To add a little more interest to the embossed design, I swiped over a white pigment ink pad.
For the shaker element, I took a piece of old packaging. I adhered this to the back of the card panel using super sticky tape. I adhered 3 of the sides before adding in some Satin White Sequins, then I adhered the last part. The sentiment is from Sentiment Strips 3 Stamp Set.
