The Today Is the Day Collection is packed with incredibly unique and versatile stamps, dies, coloring stencils, and more. I have a clean and simple card inspiration that will surely spark your creativity! But first, let's take a quick look at the new products in this collection.
Today Is the Day
With the start of a new season, this release reminds us to seize the day and make every moment count! It features playful images and sentiments to help you or a loved one enjoy life, in addition to coordinating dies and a new fan favorite…Simple Coloring Stencils! The release is finished off with a vibrant paper pack so you can easily add color and pattern to your projects. Today is the day!
Project Inspiration
I wanted to share a clean and simple card I made with one of the new stamp sets called This is Your Day! This set is full of the coolest sentiments and there is a coordinating die set available to make them pop!
To create this card, I took 3 strips of cardstock that coordinated closely with Coral Bliss, Chamomile, and Butternut Inks, all from Altenew. I cut 1/2″ strips of cardstock and added them to the card front at an angle.
Next, I stamped the sentiment. Happiness comes in 3 parts so you can create this with any color combination you can think of! I die cut it with the coordinating die and popped it up using foam tape.
I stamped the rest of the sentiment, also from the This is Your Day Stamp Set, in Obsidian Black Ink. Using a few of the Black Enamel Dots, I gave the simple card front a little bit of shine.
