Hi, it's Therese, and I am back with another edition of Take 2 with Therese. Today's post is special, as we are joining Kathy Racoosin for the Watercolor Therapy Blog Hop.
I am using the new Woodless Watercolor Pencils from Altenew and you will be able to see just how easy they are to use!

I chose the beautiful Kind Reminders Stamp Set as these flowers have that ‘watercolor' look. My first card is very clean and simple.

I added some Jet Black Ink splatters and a sentiment from the Celebrate Us Stamp Set.

To create my second card, I used the Simple Coloring Stencil, but you can watch the process in the video linked below.

This time, I used the Waterbrush Hello Die and a sub sentiment from the Hello and Hugs Stamp Set.

To see how I created these cards, you can watch my video here or watch it in HD on YouTube.

I am so excited for this series, I have just discovered watercolors!
Magical! Beautiful creations! Wonderful tips! I love the blending magic that happens when you add the water! I didn’t know about the tip to tip colouring option. I thought the water would just be sucked up by the pencil and then I’d have a paint puddle- is that a rumour in my head?
Absolutely beautiful, Therese!
Both versions are beautiful. Thanks for demonstrating the tip to tip technique!
Lovely cards!
These are so lovely. I wouldnt have dared use black splatters but they look awesome.
Lovely cards Therese! I love this collab with Kathy – she is awesome.
Oh wow! Your cards are stunning, and those pencils are simply fabulous!
Although I have a different set of watercolor pencils, I do love the control, speed and flexibility of pencils.
Love both methods but by adding the stencil method made the flowers pop out more. Definitely want to try those new woodless color pencils. Looks easy to use and blend.
I love the black sentiment on the cards. It really pops against the beautiful flowers.

Those are both so pretty! I especially like the one with the two flowers. There’s a little more black on that one and it really makes it pop. And thanks to altenew for such a great giveaway!
