Hi, it's Therese, and I am back with another edition of Take 2 with Therese. Today's post is special, as we are joining Kathy Racoosin for the Watercolor Therapy Blog Hop.
I am using the new Woodless Watercolor Pencils from Altenew and you will be able to see just how easy they are to use!

I chose the beautiful Kind Reminders Stamp Set as these flowers have that ‘watercolor' look. My first card is very clean and simple.

I added some Jet Black Ink splatters and a sentiment from the Celebrate Us Stamp Set.

To create my second card, I used the Simple Coloring Stencil, but you can watch the process in the video linked below.

This time, I used the Waterbrush Hello Die and a sub sentiment from the Hello and Hugs Stamp Set.

To see how I created these cards, you can watch my video here or watch it in HD on YouTube.

I Love how the sentiments just POP from the beautiful colored backgrounds! I LOVE these florals! WONDERFUL HOP!
What a beautiful card. I love altenew flowers so realistic! Then again is it crafter? Lol
Really pretty cards. I love the second one using the stencil and pencils together. So much detail!
I am so excited – I just ordered the woodless colored pencils. They have been out of stock and I watch Amber’s videos and was lucky when I checked back. I love water coloring although I still need a lot of practice, and I get so many awesome tips from Altenew and Kathy Racoosin.
Gorgeous cards, those water color pencils really look easy to use, so they are going to the top of my list! Thank you for another awesome video tutorial.
Gorgeous card Therese!! I have that stamp and am so inspired to color it today!
As always, such beautiful cards! Your coloring is amazing.
Thanks so much for sharing.
Beautiful cards! Loving those watercolor pencils! Looks like a good way to get into watercoloring for a beginner like me.
As always, such beautiful cards! Your coloring is amazing.
Thanks for sharing…
Beautifully color flowers. Gorgeous cards!!
Oh Therese, I think both of your cards are so lovely. I’m a huge fan of watercolour, yet this time I think the second card using the ink & pencils is my favourite as I like the depth of colour. I love it when people’s dogs or cats wander into the picture when filming. It puts a large grin on my face. Thanks.
Gorgeous cards, It’s hard to choose a favorite, but I will say the looser watercolor look makes me happiest!
Beautiful cards Therese! Those water color pencils really do look easy to use. Thanks for sharing
Lovely card. So pretty in pink

Love that big bloom done in loose watercolors! Beautiful!
The coloring and the results are beautiful. I like the bold sentiment.
Love Teresa’s style and colors. Have to admit her cards always tempt me to purchase the stamps/products she uses. I do my best to mimic her!!!
Wow! What a beautiful cards. I have been wanting to do watercolor pencils coloring but don’t have the nerve to do it! Christmas is coming and these watercolor woodless will be a perfect gift to myself. This blog is the best I have seen and I’ll definitely save it.
Those woodless watercolor pencils are beautiful. Love the effect on cards!
Well done – I like the card where you used the stencil mask best! Thanks for demoing this technique!
Beautiful cards, lovely colors with the watercolors used.
Love Take two with Therese. These cards are wonderful.
Both cards are beautiful! I love having options.
The videos are so helpful and relaxing for me to watch too :)
Coloring is so therapeutic and your cards are beautiful!
Therese, both of your cards are gorgeous, so soft and pretty! I really enjoyed your video and tips. I’d like to try the tip to tip technique as well as how you use your water brush! I think that would help with control of the color and amount of water applied.
Really enjoyed your video! Watching you use these new pencils is making me think that these need to be in my craft room. Both cards are really pretty, still trying to decide which is my favorite. As has been mentioned already, I do love when a cat wanders into the picture.
So looking forward to this wonderful blog hop. I am a novice water color user so this will be so inspiring, I’m sure!
Beautiful creations… very generous of Altenew and K. Raccousin to do this lovely watercolor hop… Thanks for the tips and I think these pencils look quite easy to use.
Such a soft look. Amazing stencil and watercolour pencils. I’ve been covering the watercolour pan sets for ages. Fingers crossed. Thanks, Altenew.
I love the stamps and die set that produced. I just wish the cost for postage ro the southern hemisphere were not so much. Love all the cards that arw produced by the team.
I love both cards but maybe the “watercolor only” card a little bit better! That’s because I love the look of watercolor so much! Both cards are well designed and great inspiration for any cards I might want to create from my stash of Altenew flowers!
Absolutely gorgeous coloring, Therese! I love your informative videos & now have those pencils high on my christmas wish list!
Beautiful cards! Love the watercolor over stencil technique
Both so charming!! Love the soft watercoloring!
Gorgeous cards! The watercolor pencils look amazing!

It seems like I’ve been waiting for ever for these pencils to come back in stock. I ordered them yay!. Therese makes this beautiful project seem so easy.
So beautiful and delicate. I love the colors! Great job!
Beautiful cards. The woodless water color pencils would be fun to play with!
Both of your cards are beautiful. I have a set of lesser quality watercolor pencils but have not used them much. WELL … after watching your video I got mine out and started practicing. They will have to do me for now til I can afford the Altenew woodless pencils which look lovely and are in the great Altenew shades. I think I have fallen in love with watercolor. Thanks for sharing and love the cat :)
Gorgeous cards!
I am really impressed with the results you got with the watercolor pencils. My own experience with watercolor pencils is good — BUT NOT THAT GOOD!
Beautiful card! I love the colors!
