Altenew Sketch Challenge #2

Hello, Altenew fans and welcome to the second Altenew Sketch challenge. The sketch and the color combination is based on one of my previous layouts which you can find here. Here is a look at the layout.

For the layout above I started by cutting out a heart. I then used a fun watercolor technique using the Altenew inks on some watercolor paper. I then stamped the flowers onto the paper and cut them out. You can see the process in the post here.

On my new layout, I thought it would nice to keep it simple so I really stayed very close to the sketch and color scheme. I drew a doodled circle and added my three clusters of flowers and my photo. Here is what I came up with.

I went with the same type of embellishments and added some gold touches with the gold glitter tape.

For leaves, I used the Freeform Greenery stamp set and Tropical Forest mini cube ink set. They break up the dominant red color in the flowers which I cut out of a patterned paper from the Reflection Scrapbook collection.

Tiny details like a stamp from the LABEL LOVE (FRENCH) stamp set and a couple of ink splatters with the Frayed Leaf Glimmer Metallic Shimmer Ink spray finish off the layout.
