Today, I'll be creating a card that has faux letterpress, selective stenciling, and ink swiping.
I started with Classic Pinecones Slim 3D Embossing Folder. I added Antique Gold Pigment Ink to the inside front of the embossing folder before adding a 3″ x 6″ piece of Hunter Green Cardstock. Once embossed, this left me with green 3D images with a gold background. I then selectively ink blended the pinecone images using Classic Pine Stencil B and Espresso Crisp Dye Ink. To add the frosted effect, I swiped over some white pigment ink.
I then matted the panel using Velvet Cardstock before adhering it to a 3 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ white card panel.
For the sentiment I using Joy To The World Typography Die Set. I cut the ‘joy' 5 times from Velvet Cardstock and once from gold glitter cardstock. Then I adhered these together before adding them into place on the card base.
