In today's blog hop, there are tons of inspiration from both our design team members. We have created a variety of projects using Altenew and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L products. Make sure to scroll all the way down for Prize alert and a special offering from Altenew!

Painted Flowers + Shutter Cover Die

I used the Adhesive sheets in most of cards, as they give perfect coverage on detailed die cuts. In this card, I used the Shutter Cover die. First I adhered a piece of the Adhesive sheet to a white card stock, then run it through my die cutting machine. I took off the adhesive backing from my positive die cut, and covered it with silver glitter. This piece was then glued to a white card base. The card was further embellished with flowers from Painted Flowers, and a sentiment from Scribbled Flowers.

Dodec Cover Die

In this card, I used the same technique as in the previous card, but this time I used the Dodec cover die, and instead of glitter, I used gold embossing powder. The focal piece includes an oval die cut, Doodle Blooms die cuts, and sentiments from Persian Motifs and Dodecagram.

Shutter Cover Die

Here I used the negatives from my first card. It is worth mentioning that I created this card first as I used the positive piece as a guide to place the negative pieces on the white card base. Once they were all in place and glued down, I peeled off the adhesive backing from each piece, and sprinkled glitter all over. I used three colors, one at a time. At this point the card was already very pretty, and there was no need to add much. I backed the wood veneer speech bubble with a piece of Gold Mirror card stock and adhered with foam tape.

Beautiful Day

Photo corners are generally meant for photos, but you can use them to mount other things as well! Here I used gold photo corners to mount my faux wall art which was created by embossing a few images from the Beautiful Day set on a piece of Jet Black card stock. The sentiments are from our new Thinking of You set.
