We love working at Altenew, since it's like working with our best friends!
However, many members of our team live in different states (or countries!), so we really cherish the time we get to spend together in person.
In late July, we had a team retreat at Altenew headquarters in Syracuse, New York, and it was wonderful to catch up with one another.

One highlight from the weekend was our Meet and Greet. It was a great opportunity to meet our customers and fans, and we all enjoyed getting crafty (and eating lots of snacks!).
While in Syracuse we also filmed an “About Altenew” video, so you can get to know a little more about our company and the people behind it.

I really like your “altenew story” video — so nice to see people coming together over things shared and to see a “family of man” happy video. Congratulations on the good work you do and the inspiration you inspire, but also for being the good people you obviously are in a world and at a time we need good people. We seem to see so much of this in the very international and multi-cultural crafting community. HOORAY!

I “found” you because I’m a follower of May Park (May is simply aMAYzing!!) and I’m so thankful I did. Your stamps, dies and inks are beautiful, innovative and the loveliest multi-layer floral stamps I’ve ever seen. Your gathering in Syracuse looks like it was a blast and as a New Yorker (but not NYC) I’d love to have been part of the fun. I wanted to be there so badly! I don’t live too far but I’d already scheduled a copic class the weekend before and spent a lot of $ on that. And my passport isn’t up to date. I was sooo bummed! Looks like everyone had a ton of fun. I really hope you do another soon! And maybe give us a bit more lead time!
