This stamp set features a bouquet of fashion monger dahlias including three flowers in a beautiful arrangement. Stamp them on your paper crafting projects and color them in with your favorite coloring mediums!
As well, Altenew is offering a couple of bundles with this stamp set that are perfect for adding color to this outline image!
The first is the Watercolor 24 Pan Paint set along with the Paint-A-Flower Fashion Monger Dahlia Outline Stamp Set.
And the second bundle on offer is the Paint-A-Flower: Fashion Monger Dahlia & Watercolor Essential 12 Pan Set Bundle.
PROJECTS WITH PRODUCTS FROM TODAY’S RELEASE:
For my Paint-A-Flower cards this month, I didn’t take the traditional route of stamping and coloring or painting. Instead, I chose a more graphic and decorative approach.
For my first card, I stamped parts of the outline image all over an A2-sized watercolor card panel, filling in all the areas and heat setting with white embossing powder.
Then I painted in the entire panel with shades of olive green, turquoise green, blue, and lavender, letting the colors pool, blend, and interact with each other. I did (sort of) focus the greens on the leaves but then used a mix of the other shades on the petals and background areas.
I debated the variety of techniques I could used to add the sentiment, but didn’t want to cover any more of the lovely stamped or painted design, so in the end, I decided to try simply stamping and heat embossing right over top of what I had already stamped and heat embossed, and I really love the look! To support the black greeting, I added a few black enamel dots.
For my second card, I wanted to stay with the same general color scheme, so I started by painting a bunch of strips of watercolor cardstock with the same shades of paint as I’d used on the first card.
I trimmed the painted strips into varying widths and taped them together with washi tape and double-sided adhesive on the back. Then I put the cardstock stripped panel into the MISTI and stamped a single outlined image with embossing ink and heat set with white embossing powder.
I added the greeting (included in the set) to a strip near the bottom, and then trimmed the panel and matted it with a piece of coordinating cardstock before adhering it all to a folded white cardstock card base. I finished the card with the addition of some clear and white hole-less sequins.
Now before I send you off to the other blogs on this hop, let me tell you about some giveaways!

Wow! I am always just blown away by the cards y’all make! Always creative and just stunning. The samples you provide always inspire me color palette wise.
Thank you for sharing such amazing ideas with this new beautiful release. 💜
Wow, Gorgeous! The inks couldn’t have pooled any better on your first card. I love the background. The 2nd is stunning too using same colors but with stripes. Another way to make a fairly quick card. Love the flowers embossed in white.
Beautiful! I love both cards and re-stamping then re-embossing is a something i wouldn’t have tried but now will!
Love this stamp set & the beautiful cards made with it.

New to this site and love it! Thank you for everything you share! I am new to cardmaking and trying to get supplies! I have ordered a few times from you recently, I see last order shipping today! Thank you!
These two cards showcase two of my favorite techniques. Heat embossing in white over scrap strips is a great way to dress them up and who doesn’t love watercolor?
