Creating a Project – Terrific Tags with Michelle
For my project today, I wanted to create a tag. The Mini Delight sets are perfect for tags because of their smaller size but don't let that fool you, they pack a big punch and are perfect for larger projects too. They are great for practicing your coloring as well because they are not too intimidating and the Mini Delight: Dainty Calla Lily is beautiful to color!

Faux Watercolor Background
I started off my project by creating a faux watercolor background. Don't have any watercolors? No problem! You can create a watercolor look with ink pads too! Using a Small Ink Blending Tool, I blended Crisp Dye Inks in Teal Cave, Persian Blue, and Midnight Violet onto a panel of watercolor paper. I then intensified the blue with Sapphire. Using the Fine Mister – Perfect Craftroom Companion, I spritzed the panel to blend the colors together.

I dried the panel and then blended back over the panel with the same colors before splattering on some water droplets. This is a really quick and easy way to create a background! I die cut the panel with the Terrific Tag Die and then die cut another one from Classic Crest 110lb Solar White Cardstock and adhered it to the back with Glue Tape.
Creating the Focal Point
I stamped the Mini Delight: Dainty Calla Lily stamp with Obsidian Pigment Ink and colored it with Woodless Coloring Pencils. I used Jet Black, Shadow Creek, Grass Field, and Limeade for the leaves and stems, and Moon Rock, Paper Bag, Maple Yellow, and Fresh Lemon for the flowers.
Coloring with pencils takes me quite some time, but I just enjoyed the process and layered up the different shades to get the look that I wanted. I only added a small amount of Moon Rock to the flowers to show where the shadows would be, but still appear white.

It was cut out with the die set and added to the tag with Instant Dimension Foam Tape. I stamped the sentiment from the Tiny Sentiments: Hello Stamp Set onto black cardstock with Embossing Ink. Next, I applied Pure White Crisp Embossing Powder and heat set it. It was cut into a strip and added to the tag. To finish off, I added twine through the top and tied in a bow.
