Today we have Svitlana and Nicole sharing their amazing projects using the Chameleon Pens which work brilliantly with our floral stamp sets. Okay, let’s see what creations they have to inspire us all:

Hi everyone! It's Svitlana and I'm very pleased to be on the blog today sharing a card made using 5 Pen Cool Tones set.

To start off I cut a panel out of the Crest Solar White cardstock. Next, I stamped a floral cluster using stamps from the Persian Motives stamp set. I cut out from the panel a word happy using the Happy die and started coloring.

First I colored the flowers on the panel, using the 5 Pen Cool Tones set from Chameleon. I used the darker blue shade for flowers, with some pops of light blue, and purple colors for leaves.  Next, I colored the happy die cut. To make it stand out from the design on the panel for coloring on the die-cut I used different colors from the same set.

I die-cut several happy words out f dark blue cardstock and made a DIY chipboard, placing on top the die-cut, I made from the panel.

I adhered the panel to a dark blue card base, the same cardstock I used for happy chipboard dimensional part. And then inserted the chipboard happy into its negative space in the panel.

Finally added a sentiment, white embossed on a stripe of the same dark blue cardstock and several sequins. Hope you like my card and got inspired.

Happy Friday all! Nicole here and I am bringing something soft, feminine, and elegant card to share with you today. I played with Cameleon's Pastel Tone Set and I have to be honest with you, I was quite nervous as it was my very first time trying these pens. I've researched a lot on how to properly use this prior to using it, which I found very helpful!

The Pastel Tone Set is perfect if you love to color soft tones in your projects. For today's project, I've paired it with the Magnolias for Her stamp set and its matching die set. What do you think of these colors?

It was fairly easy to use – you have to understand that the time you spend mixing the chambers together can really change the way these pigments look. If you want a much softer look, make sure to let the chambers mix together for a bit longer. (for really soft colors, I let them mix for about 15 sec.) I would recommend starting light and building it up until you get the intensity you like.

I used the Classic Crest Solar White cardstock for these images and cut them out using the matching die set. To finish up the card, I splattered a bit of gold mist on the card front layer, added the “Thank You” sentiment from the same stamp set, and attached the colored images with some foam dots. The whole card front is attached to another white cardstock.

Quick tip – If you tend to blend colors a lot when using these types of markers, make sure to use a thicker cardstock to prevent bleeding. The Classic Crest Solar White cardstock works perfect for this, since it is nice and thick, 110lb cardstock!

White space is something that I love when coloring any stamped images. If you want a more fully-colored look, make sure to fill them with more color layers – but I think there is a beauty of embracing white spaces, don't you think?
