The new Build-A-Garden: Magnificent Branch is gorgeous, and due to its larger size, it can easily yield two cards from one stamped image.
My starting point for these cards was one full stamped and colored image (see supply list of ink colors used). I carefully cut the large rose bloom from the image, thus creating two separate images from the original one.
For my first card, my inspiration comes from the trifold insert guide in the Build-A-Garden: Magnificent Branch Outline Stamp Set.
I simply trimmed the cardstock to 4″ x 5.25″ to form the card panel. I love the sentiments included in the stamp set, so I used Obsidian Pigment Ink to add my sentiment, then sprinkled a few gems to complete my card.
For the second card, I am using the larger floral image from the stamped Build-A-Garden: Magnificent Branch.
After carefully cutting it out from the cardstock, it can easily be transformed into a large embellishment/focal point for the card panel. I created a bit of interest in the background of the card panel using the Reflections Die and Rounded Rectangles Die Set. I also used the delicate Handwritten Hello Die Set to create the card sentiment.
You can check how these cards come together in the following video. You can watch it here or in HD at Altenew's YouTube channel:
I hope this inspires you to explore all the possibilities you can create with the new Build-A-Garden: Magnificent Branch set.
