Build-A-Flower: Narcissus Layering Stamp and Die Set

Build-A-Flower: Narcissus Layering Stamp and Die Set

Nothing says spring has sprung quite like an open daffodil bloom. This layering stamp set features an elegant narcissus in full bloom with a stem and leaf. The flower itself comprises eight detailed layers to give a beautifully realistic look to the bloom. Try using the leaf both ways on your projects to give variety, and stamp the accompanying heartwarming sentiments to inspire your loved ones.

Project Inspiration

I had such fun creating with the new Build-A-Flower: Narcissus.  Today I decided to add color with ink but in 2 different ways.

Starting with ‘no-line' layered stamping.

I used the beautiful Tranquility and Sugar Plums Inks.

And for the leaves, I used the Nature's Wonders Set. I also added a bold sentiment using the Circled Sentiments Bundle

For my next design, I used the same inks to do some ‘watercoloring'.

This time I used Pure White Embossing Powder to heat emboss my images.

And this time, I added a sentiment from the Fancy Greetings Stamp Set.

I hope these cards have inspired you to use your inks to create some flowers using the NEW Build-A-Flower: Narcissus set. Thanks so much for joining me here today.

I love this stamp set and I love the designs created with it. I’ve never used layering stamps, but this example inspires me to try.

As always, Therese’s cards are lovely — they make you stop and read on to see how she achieved their look. The fact that both have an etherealness to them achieved through two different techniques shows what a master crafter Therese is.
