Build-A-Flower Giant Bellflower Layering Stamp and Die Set

Let your imagination soar with stunning florals and heartfelt greetings in this unique layering stamp and die set. The florals in this set feature an artistic take on giant bellflowers, showcasing beautiful open petals on a cluster of three flowers. Want to experiment with color? We have added separate coloring layers for each individual flower so you can get creative with colors for your paper crafting projects.

The images are just beautiful, and it's so wonderful to be able to use the outline stamp along with your favorite coloring medium or use it with the included layering stamps and your favorite shades of ink! If you find yourself loving the Build-A-Flower sets each month, you can always subscribe to be guaranteed to receive each Build-A-Flower release, and even better, at a discount!

Giant Bellflowers Project Inspiration

I have created a vibrant card using the outline stamps and the recently-released Island Garden Artist Alcohol Markers. Let's get started with the details!

ALT BAF Bellflower 1

I began by stamping a couple of the outlines from the Build-A-Flower Giant Bellflower set using Permanent Black Ink. I colored the large flowers using the blue and green marker quartets from the Island Garden Artist Alcohol Markers. I die cut the finished colored images using the coordinating dies, which are included with the Build-A-Flower Giant Bellflower set.

I wanted to give the illusion of flowers climbing up a brick wall, so I trimmed down a 3.25″x6.25″ panel of white cardstock and ran it through my die-cut machine with the Brick Wall 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered it to a full-size mini-slimline card base in a lovely coordinating shade of cornflower blue using liquid adhesive. Then, I added the colored flowers around the edge of the card front, adhering them with Instant Dimension Foam Tape.

Next, I added the greeting. When the Sentiment Banners Hot Foil Plate and Dies were released, I hot foiled several different versions using different combinations of foil and cardstock colors. I used one of those iridescent silver sentiment banners to stamp the greeting from the Build-A-Flower Giant Bellflower using black ink. I adhered it to the card base using some more foam adhesive. The final step was to add some coordinating iridescent blue pearls to add one more element of texture to the card front.

Well, that's all for my card project today! Now for some fun giveaway information!
