Build-A-Flower: Belladonna Lily Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in Total Prizes!)

Today, I'm excited to be sharing with you a super sparkly stepped-up sentiment using the new Build-A-Flower Belladonna Lily Layering Stamp and Die Set. This is a great but simple way to make your sentiment pop. Before we get started, let's take a quick look at the latest addition to our growing Build-A-Flower collection!

Build-A-Flower Belladonna Lily Layering Stamp and Die Set

Brighten a loved one's day with stunning Belladonna Lilies. These gorgeous summer bloomers produce multiple fragrant flowers on each impressive stalk. In this stamp set, we have brought this exotic plant to paper through a delicately drawn outline image. The flowers have four coloring layers, and the stem has two coloring layers that will add depth and character to this beautiful flower.

Project Inspiration

I started by cutting the detail die from Way To Go Die Set into place onto a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ panel of Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock. Once this was die cut, I temporarily kept the pieces together from behind using Satin Masking Tape. I then went ahead and stamped the beautiful image from Build-A-Flower Belladonna Lily into place around the die-cut sentiment. As I wanted the sentiment to ‘pop' and not just the images, I stamped these using Silver Lake, Cloudy Night, Gray Denim, and Charcoal Suit Inks.

On my card base, I draw a guideline where the sentiment would sit. Using the guideline, I then adhered strips of glitter cardstock into place. The colors of glitter cardstock I used were Peridot, Moonlight, and Pink Diamond. Once the area was covered, I added the stamped panel into place using foam tape. So simple right?!?! But it's just so pretty and sparkly!
