My favorite things from Altenew 2021 have to be the Craft your life bundles. I just love that stencils and dies are included PLUS an embossing folder to match. These kits are genius!

It’s been an amazing year for me as I got to know Altenew in August 2020 when I was in 2 weeks quarantine because of COVID. My 2 weeks flew by as I learnt about water colouring in card making for the first time. I have been enjoying blending with Altenew brushes too. In just over a year I probably have all your ink cubes. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn a new skill. Currently I’m enjoy the live December classes. Thank you again.

It’s so much fun to see what each of the designers chose as their favorite cards! I follow many of them, and remember their beautiful creations, but it’s also fun to find new cards I haven’t seen before! 2021 might have been challenging in many ways, but it was certainly a lovely year for card making!

I love the Altenew experience. There are so many beautiful images- not just florals, but elegant flourishes and scene builders. The Altenew look is easily recognizable. It’s always elegant yet easy to achieve. It’s hard to choose a favorite but for now I’m loving the Baroque Motif. Using the stamps, dies and stencils, there are endless possibilities for the beautiful crafts I can create. The most beautiful cards I’ve created start with Altenew products. I love what I can do with the color layering and paper layering florals. I’ve purchased some turnabouts too but haven’t mastered them yet. I plan on making art journals this year to play with my supplies. Viewing the tutorials and creations of other artists is truly inspiring!

Thank you for creating the Year in Review. Gave me an opportunity to learn from artists I don’t normally follow. My favorite product is the Spring Bouquet dye ink bundle, the most perfect set of Spring colors ever. Wish I could purchase washi tape and enamel elements to match. My favorite artist is Norine Borys. She consistently year round makes wonderful cards and every one of her watercolor looking cards are fantastic. My favorites in the review are the vases and bird. Other outstanding cards were are by Emily Midgett, the Frilly Peonies, and Ishani, the Garden Rose. Definitely will be buying more 3D Embossing folders this year.

My own favorite Altenew products have been the Peruvian Lily, every time I diecut it I have to stare at it and all the 3D folders I have purchased. I had the most fun using the pigment inks, I used them in so many ways, as watercolor, dipping, blending, great for mixed media.

I don’t have heaps of products but one that I’ve used over and over is the Bold Thanks Die. Love that I can change the look up for a variety of themes just by changing the shadow die cut colour or even cutting the letters out of multiple colours.

Four days into 2022 and I am finally getting to this hop. My favorite product of 2021 huh? Hard call…I think I have to go with organic linen embossing folder. I just LOVE that thing.

I was looking through all the projects created in 2021. My goodness Altenew your releases were amazing. It’s truly an embarrassment of riches for your incredible design team to select from. I can’t even begin to pick a favorite card, product or technique. I can’t wait to see what you have planned for 2022!
