We can't give our Card Design Team a shout-out without doing the same for our Mixed Media Design Team AND our Video Inspiration Team for their creative contributions!

Our Mixed Media Design Team has been working tirelessly every month to create layouts, journal pages, DIY home decor, and other amazing handmade creations featuring Altenew products. We couldn't have asked for a better team!

In our effort to provide more project inspiration, while keeping up with the fast-paced world that we are living in and taking consideration of our on-the-go fans and customers, we launched our Video Inspiration Team in September 2019! These talented designers have been providing fun, high-quality, and inspiring process videos, which shows how to recreate the beautiful cards that they've made with Altenew products! Need we say more?!

We have asked each of our design team members to share four of their favorite Altenew projects with you. They are also sharing what they like the most about being on their respective design teams and their favorite Altenew products!

Nicole Watt (DT Member Since March 2020)

This time last year, I was just starting out as a new Video Inspiration Team member – how time flies! When I look back at all of my projects, I see that my style continues to evolve, grow, and refine. This is proof positive that making time to “practice” every day makes you better at anything you do – including crafting! I love interacting and connecting with all of you through my video series, live streams, and Zoom classes. I feel honored to be a part of such a truly amazing community of creatives!

Amber Rain Davis (DT Member Since March 2020)

Inspiring artists to reach outside their comfort zone and try something new has been the most rewarding part of being on the Altenew Video Design Team. It’s all about experimenting, enjoying the process, making mistakes, and turning them into creative opportunities. This method makes techniques approachable for artists of all levels. Tania Ahmed (DT Member Since April 2020)

Being on the Altenew Mixed Media Design Team has been a huge thrill! It is an honor to share my love for all things Altenew and mixed media via videos and tutorial blog posts. I am in awe of seeing how Altenew has grown over the years and even more thrilled to be a part of the Altenew family. Each new release is always a delight and the products are so well thought out and planned! A very happy anniversary to the whole team!

From the beginning of my card making journey, Altenew has always had an incredibly diverse group of designers and artists. I am proud to be among many talented creatives and content creators – many of these folks still inspire me. The Altenew community is incredibly supportive.  After all my years of paper crafting, loyal fans and customers still motivate me to create and be unapologetically expressive in my artistry. I am hopeful for more people to discover the joy of crafting with Altenew.

Each year, I am in awe of something new that Altenew introduces. This time, it's the Coloring Stencils and the Detailed Blending Brushes! I’ve always been more inclined towards Altenew coloring mediums, but the company has won me over with other tools, too! I feel lucky to be involved not only as a creative member of Altenew but also as a Coordinator for AECP, which I think is a brilliant avenue for crafters who want to use their skills and turn their hobby into a means to earn. Hi! I'm Reiko from Japan. I’m beyond honored and happy to have been a part of the Altenew Mixed Media Design Team for almost four years. I love all Altenew products, but my current favorites are the mixed media inks and the washi tapes. These products inspire me every day and push me to try out new techniques! Lilith Eeckels (DT Member Since May 2016)

I have been on the Altenew team since May 2016, and they have become my crafting family. I enjoy creating new projects each month with stunning products. I am amazed by the array of new items being introduced to make crafting even funner and easier. I am currently obsessed with the embossing folders and the detailed blending tool.
