Hello there, everyone! Welcome to the Altenew Educators “For the Love of Flowers” Blog Hop and Linky Party!
Today, we celebrate and appreciate our esteemed Educators who have completed their AECP journey after immense hard work. Right now we have 23 Certified Educators! You know some of them as they have become part of the Altenew family. Many of them have been featured as guest designers on the Altenew Card Blog, and of course, all of them are known for their amazing work. Most of the Educators are doing fabulous work teaching workshops and spreading their knowledge and craft.
Altenew Educator Certification Program (AECP) was developed to improve crafting skills and to master new crafting techniques. You can hear from one of our Educators, Amber Rain Davis, what she has to say about the program.
A blog hop is always exciting but this time we wanted YOU to be part of the fun too, so we decided to host a linky party! As you can tell, the theme of this hop is “For the Love of Flowers“, so take out your floral stamps and dies, everyone! We want to see your floral projects! Link them up; as many as you like!
Here is some inspiration to kick off the hop.
For this card, I stamped the Wallpaper Art Stamp Set flower in Baby Pink Dye Ink on watercolor paper. And for the leaves, I used Firefly Dye Ink. To color, I used the Artists' Watercolors in Cherry Blossom and a bit of Rock Collection for the flower. For its center, I used Fall Harvest, Delectable Delights, Coffee Break, and Rock Collection. I used Rain Forest, Tropical Forest, Pocketful of Sunshine, Green Meadows, and Coffee Break for the vines.
Once the images were dry, I used the coordinating dies to die cut the images. Next, I applied a light color wash on the card front using a couple of green shades and then added black paint splatters.
I adhered the floral images with foam tape and popped the sentiment too, which is from Engraved Flowers Stamp Set.
I hope I got some of the creative juices flowing. Now onto the good stuff!
