Hi, it's Therese, and I am back with another edition of Take 2 with Therese.

Today's post shares two ideas using layered stencils. In this project, I used both the Golden Days and Gilded Rose Layered Stencil Sets.

Card Idea #1: Adding a Layer of Glitter

These big beautiful blooms are both show stoppers, but it's easy to take them to the next level by simply adding a textured layer. Start with some glitter!

I blended all the layers of both stencils, starting with the Gilded Rose Layered Stencil Set, some Crisp Dye Inks, and a Large Blending Tool.

I also added a simple sentiment from the Fresh Cut Roses Stamp Set.

Card Idea #2: Color Match Embossing Paste

This technique is an easy way to add texture to a layered image.  Embossing paste is fun to use, but being able to color it with ink to suit your project makes it even more versatile.

I added a Fancy Celebrate die-cut sentiment from Grapevine Cardstock.
